Zelaya Restitution, Result of Popular Struggle!

The “accord” is a miserable compromise, obviously made under pressure from the U.S. The Honduran Army is not under presidential control, according to the agreement. And it depends on the Supreme Court and Congress….who can stall.

If the President has no power, then the coup plotters have won. They will have the power with a token democratic president which serves their economic interests better than Micheletti.

I think we should beware of “victories” which have the purpose of demobilizing the people. Earl Gilman
