Threat to Amazon delayed

Good news from Brazil; but we’re not out of the woods yet.

The next stage of voting on Brazil’s new Forest Code – which could have devastating impacts on the Amazon – has been once again postponed before going to President Dilma, who can either approve or veto it.

Facebook unfriends coal

We did it!

Facebook has announced it will move away from coal, to power its operations – including datacentres – with clean and renewable energy.
